Job Title: Head of Tokenisation/Digital Assets – UK Europe

Salary: £160k – £200K + Attractive Bonus

Our client is a Top-tier global asset manager who are hiring for a director level role. Suited to an experienced investment specialist with a strong market presence and demonstrated history of working in both digital assets and Asset Management.

About your team

Your role will be in the Digital Assets team. Our client is seeking to further develop its digital assets and tokenisation capabilities, and the Digital Assets team leads those efforts globally for our client.

About your role

As an integral member of the Distribution teams, the Digital Assets Strategist, Europe works in collaboration with the sales team to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of the Digital Assets sales plans. You will drive net sales for their Digital Assets product range (both international and Investments) in the European region. It includes crypto ETFs/ETPs and tokenised funds’ offering.

You will take on a central role in building out our product positioning, market and competitor intelligence as well as our marketing approach and distribution strategy in Europe. Your insights will help define how our client presents its digital assets capabilities to institutional, intermediary and professional investor audiences.

The role includes preparing, executing and following up on client queries, sales meetings and client event related tasks. It includes taking care of client service, but also maintaining and keeping our global CRM system (Salesforce) up to date.

You will be their primary representative for the Digital Assets capability in the European region and responsible for driving and further developing this strategic positioning. You will be involved in the writing of thought leadership pieces on digital assets as well as regular communication for clients. Working with marketing, you will develop the right marketing approach to contribute to the growth of the digital assets products.

A key aspect of the role is contributing to the creation of high-quality thought leadership and client-facing content on digital assets. You will support and help draft articles, insights, thematic pieces, product updates and market commentary. This requires maintaining a deep and continuous understanding of the crypto and tokenisation landscape — including regulatory developments, market structure changes, competitor moves, and emerging trends. You will proactively monitor the digital assets markets to ensure their messaging is timely, relevant, and aligned with the needs of our clients.

To support the growth of their International’s tokenised funds, you will be owning the clients’ relationships with the web3 ecossystem to support the growth of assets and build their relationship in this new evolving space.

You will work closely with other part of our clients such as Digital Asset Management and Digital Assets in order to develop the global brand of our client in the digital assets space.

About you

• Passionate in Digital Assets. Committed to drive innovative investment solutions and business growth in the digital assets space.
• Support the development and execution of our clients digital assets strategy, including but not limited to identifying business opportunity, launching investment strategy and proposition, integrating solution design to existing capabilities and enhancing their credential in digital assets.
• In-depth knowledge on the asset management distribution landscape, client segments and market trends
• Significant experience in and understanding of the Digital Assets business and willingness to proactively expand expertise
• Proven ability to be a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a hands-on mentality
• Proven experience to lead highly complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders
• Proven ability to build successful external and internal relationships and manage stakeholders up to board level
• Experience of mobilising, structuring and generating momentum
• Ability to deal successfully with ambiguity and draw out the issues to be addressed
• Organised with ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Degree level education is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Investment professional qualification i.e. CFA, CAIA, ESG, crypto and blockchain related credentials is a plus
• Proficiency in other European languages is an asset for the role
