Job Title: Partner – Procurement Consulting | Energy Sector

My client is investing significantly in its Procurement & Supply Chain Consulting capability and is looking to appoint an experienced Partner to lead the continued growth of its Energy sector practice.

This is an opportunity for an established consulting leader who combines deep procurement expertise with the commercial drive to win new business, develop long-term client relationships and build high-performing teams.

The Opportunity

The Energy sector is undergoing unprecedented transformation. Net Zero commitments, energy security, digitalisation, supply chain resilience and major capital investment programmes are redefining how organisations buy, manage suppliers and deliver value.

As a Partner, you will work with some of the UK’s leading energy organisations, helping executive teams transform their procurement functions, improve commercial performance and deliver complex transformation programmes.

You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the practice, leading strategic client engagements and mentoring the next generation of consulting leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and grow a market-leading Procurement Consulting practice within the Energy sector.
• Develop trusted C-suite relationships across utilities, power generation, renewables, oil & gas and wider energy infrastructure organisations.
• Originate and lead large-scale consulting engagements across procurement transformation, operating model design, strategic sourcing, digital procurement and supply chain transformation.
• Lead business development activity, converting opportunities into long-term client partnerships.
• Inspire, mentor and develop high-performing consulting teams.
• Work collaboratively across the wider consulting business to deliver integrated transformation programmes.
• Contribute to the strategic direction and continued growth of the practice.

About You

You’ll already be operating at Partner level, or be an experienced Director with a demonstrable track record of winning and delivering major consulting engagements.

You’ll bring:

• Extensive Procurement Consulting experience gained within a leading consulting firm.
• Strong knowledge of the Energy sector, including utilities, renewables, power generation, energy infrastructure or oil & gas.
• A proven track record of originating and winning significant consulting engagements.
• Experience leading complex procurement and supply chain transformation programmes.
• Excellent executive stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Strong commercial acumen with a passion for building and growing consulting businesses.
• The credibility to engage confidently with C-suite executives and Board-level stakeholders.
