We’re partnering with a scaling business expanding into Europe, they are seeking a Group Finance Operations Lead to manage their transactional finance functions and help shape the next phase of operational growth.

The Role
As Group Finance Operations Lead, you’ll be responsible for leading Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Project Finance teams, where you’ll set the direction, optimise workflows, and ensure strong financial controls across the group’s multi-entity structure.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys operational detail while also driving strategic improvement and you’ll work closely with senior finance and business stakeholders to support scalable, efficient finance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team across transactional finance functions
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth delivery of AP, AR, and reconciliations
- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
- Ensure compliance with VAT, internal policies, and multi-jurisdictional finance regulations
- Act as a key finance business partner across the group, resolving queries and supporting continuous improvement
- Lead on financial systems oversight and contribute to technology transformation
- Travel to the head office on a bi-weekly basis
What We’re Looking For:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
- Experience leading finance operations teams, ideally within AP/AR/Credit Control
- Proven track record in process improvement and automation
- Experience working in a multi-entity or multi-jurisdictional environment
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Confident with Excel; NetSuite or Oracle knowledge a plus
- Sector experience in hospitality, accommodation, or apartment living is desirable
