Job Title: Sourcing Director, Technology, Global Investment Bank
Location: London
I am working on a retained mandate for a global investment bank in London. They are looking for a Sourcing Director to lead technology sourcing across the firm.
You will own the sourcing strategy for technology: software, hardware, infrastructure, cloud, data, and managed services. You will deliver cost efficiency, manage risk, and make sure sourcing decisions support the bank’s business and technology priorities. You will report into the senior leadership of the procurement function and act as a trusted adviser to the CIO organisation and the front office.
You will be responsible for:

Leading technology category strategy: market analysis, sourcing, negotiation, and supplier performance
- Manage strategic relationships with the major technology vendors and service providers
- Lead major negotiations and multi-year commercial agreements
- Partner with Technology, Risk, Legal, Finance, and the business lines
- Lead and develop a team of sourcing professionals
- Ensure compliance with regulatory expectations on third-party risk, outsourcing, and operational resilience
We are looking for the following experience:
- Senior technology sourcing and procurement leadership in financial services, ideally investment banking
- Track record managing large technology spend and complex vendor portfolios
- Strong commercial and negotiation capability at executive level
- Working knowledge of cloud, cyber security, data, and enterprise software markets
- Credibility with senior technology stakeholders and the ability to influence at Managing Director level
- Experience building and leading high-performing teams
