Real Estate / Private Assets – Technology Consultant / Architect – Asset Management / Investment Management

6 Month Contract

Our client is a leading Asset Management company and is looking for a Consultant with Real Estate Technology expertise along with broader Private Markets knowledge. The role will focus on the following initiatives:

Conduct a review of their current architecture and define a target architecture:

• Work with the Real Estate IT Director and Global Head of Operations to understand current state, future business operating model changes, growth plans etc. as input to defining the target architecture.
• Recommend timelines and sequencing of deliverables to achieve the target architecture, factoring in any recommendations alongside existing backlog items.
• Be cognisant of the wider Private Markets/Asset Management Platform target architecture and data strategy.

Solution design and requirements definition:

• Ensure the engineering team have clear requirements and a brief to deliver against for the priority initiatives as defined in the target architecture.
• Refactoring of applications on legacy technologies & solution design to address known scalability issues in our performance reporting capability.

Support the selection of a multi-private asset data solution:

• Work with Head of Private Markets Change to support the project team in requirement definition across the investment desks

Experience Required:

• Real Estate technology expertise within a global asset manager.
• Broader private markets expertise (private credit, structured credit, private equity, alternatives, infrastructure).
• Able to work at a high level (e.g. enterprise architecture) and low level (detailed solution design).
• Be a strong collaborator, working as part of the Real Estate technology team and interfacing with various individuals across tech and change, and Real Estate ops predominantly.
